Kinzir SKD Solutions: Lower Tariffs, Higher Flexibility
Semi-Knocked-Down Kits of Our Best-Selling Electric Air Dusters & Fan Blowers
Why SKD?
Market Challenge
With global tariffs on fully assembled electronics soaring, import duties and customs fees can add 20 to 30% or more to your landed cost. Even beyond tariffs, bulky, fully built units mean higher freight rates, more complex logistics, and slower clearance times at destination ports. For distributors and OEMs targeting cost-sensitive markets, these added expenses directly eat into margins and slow down time-to-market.

Our Solution to Tariff Increases
Kinzir’s Semi-Knocked-Down (SKD) kits let you import core components—motor assemblies, housings, nozzles, and electronics modules—separately, then finish final assembly in your local facility. By splitting the product into multiple customs classifications, you:
Reduce Tariffs: Benefit from lower duty rates on parts versus completed units.
Lower Freight Costs: Ship flat-packed components for higher container utilization and reduced volumetric weight.
Speed Customs Clearance: Streamlined inspections on individual components vs. entire machines.
Key Benefits at a Glance
Up to 25% Duty Savings
30% More Efficient Container Packing
Faster Port Turnaround with simplified documentation
Local Value-Add: Customize branding, voltage, and plug types on-site
Scalable Assembly: Choose full pre-assembly or “just-in-time” kit builds
By leveraging Kinzir’s SKD program, you unlock a leaner, more cost-effective supply chain—so you can compete on price, accelerate delivery, and tailor products to your market’s exact needs.
About Kinzir’s SKD Products for Export
Semi-Knocked-Down (SKD) kits are products shipped in a partially disassembled state – key components and subassemblies (motors, housings, electronics modules, fasteners, etc.) are packed flat for export, then welded, screwed or snapped together at the destination site. In short, SKD lets you import “almost finished” units, complete the final build locally, and unlock major savings in duties, freight, and logistics.
